Hempstead is one of the 3 major towns in Nassau County in New York. It occupies the south-west part of the County in the western half of Long Island. The town has 22 entirely or partially incorporated villages and hamlets. Within the town, there is also a village known as Hempstead.

During the 2010 census, the town had a population of 759,757 making it the most populous town in this county. This is one of the best towns you can live at in New York. It has beautiful sceneries and of its 191.3 square miles, 71.4 square miles is water. This gives the town a rich and beautiful environment suitable to live in and have fun. It is a perfect place to bring up a family as the town is a proud host of many villages, beaches, skylines and educational facilities like the Hofstra University primary campus.

It is a town where having fun is unlimited for the whole family and it has everything you need as a working person from good transport infrastructure to good roads networked all over the town. The town is also the proud host of the most popular beach on the east coast of the United States Jones Beach. Valley Stream State Park, Hempstead Lake State Park and Jones Beach State Park are also located within the town.
